Costume Crafts Assistant
First Stage seeks a Costume Crafts Assistant to assist in the creation of costume crafts for all assigned shows. Responsibilities include interpreting the costume design in order to create items needed for shows, including hats, jewelry, footwear, armor, foam structures, mechanical costumes, puppets, masks, belts, fans, purses; develop patterns for crafts items (with assistance from Crafts Lead); perform fittings with actors as necessary.

Shop Swing Carpenter
The Shop Carpenter is a full time position that will split time between the Scene Shop and Prop Shop equally. Main responsibilities are the successful and timely execution of projects laid out by Technical Director and Properties Master. This position requires skills and knowledge of woodworking, metalwork/welding, furniture construction, and sewing. Knowledge and experience in upholstery, specialty props fabrication, and finishing work (painting, vinyl cutting, applying graphics, laminating, etc.) is a plus.

Wardrobe Assistant
The Wardrobe Assistant’s main responsibilities will be assisting the Wardrobe Supervisor in creating change tracks, running all performances, maintaining costumes, and handling all laundry needs for the entire run. Applicants must be available for every performance and must have own transportation to and from the theatre. This position will be working directly with and actively supervising Young Performers backstage. Applicants must possess a positive back stage demeanor and work well with actors and backstage crew. Prior costume and or wardrobe experience and strong sewing skills are required.

Marketing & Group Sales Associate
Reporting to the Patron Services Manager and the Marketing and Public Relations Director, the Marketing & Group Sales Associate is responsible for managing an active group sales campaign for First Stage’s evening and weekend theater performances, as well as providing additional marketing and box office support. This is a part-time, seasonal, hourly position and may require occasional evening and weekend hours.

Development Coordinator
The Development Coordinator will provide administrative support to a variety of First Stage Development efforts.Clerical work and data entry will be required. The qualified candidate has high attention to detail and accuracy along with strong written communication skills. While supervision and direction is readily available, the Coordinator will be expected to be a self-starter and able to work independently. Strong people skills and a desire to support the First Stage mission are key.
