Shop Carpenter/Artisan
Full-Time Seasonal

First Stage seeks a Shop Carpenter/Artisan, this is a full time position that will split time between the Scene Shop and Prop Shop equally. Main responsibilities are the successful and timely execution of projects laid out by Technical Director and Properties Master. This position requires skills and knowledge of woodworking, sewing, foam carving, and furniture construction. Knowledge and experience in upholstery, specialty props fabrication, metalwork/welding, and finishing work (painting, vinyl cutting, applying graphics, laminating, etc.) is a plus. Community Learning Center (CLC) Teaching Artist
This position is contracted seasonally and will report to the CLC Site Coordinator and CLC HeadmasterPosition DescriptionThe CLC Teaching Artist position teaches performance and arts-integrated theater classes for the CLC atKluge Elementary School. Staff Accountant
Year-round, full-time
Reports to Finance Director

First Stage is seeking an energized, mission-minded candidate to fill our Staff Accountant position. The position is responsible for the entry of accounts payable and deposits, tracking of company credit card usage, and the performance of various account reconciliations during month-end. This entry-level position requires a deep-rooted understanding of accounting basics, accuracy, quick analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with staff at all levels of the Organization. General computer proficiency and high proficiency in Excel are necessary. Knowledge of Abila MIP (formerly Sage Fund Accounting) and Tessitura is a plus.  The ideal candidate has an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
