Young Company Bard-O-Thon

On Saturday, April 20, First Stage's Young Company members tested their artistic endurance in celebration of Shakespeare's 460th birthday. At the 14th Annual Bard-O-Thon, 44 students performed a whopping 477 memorized monologues! 

During this annual fundraiser, they hoped to raise over $14,000 to support Shakespeare programming at First Stage and the annual trip to the Utah Shakespeare Festival. We are proud to announce that they beat that goal by more than $6,000 and set a new record by raising more than $20,900!
