Our Facility

First Stage's administrative offices, production offices and Theater Academy are located at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center (MYAC), a contemporary, cutting-edge performing arts education and rehearsal facility for the young people of southeastern Wisconsin. MYAC gives children the opportunity to express themselves through the arts in a fun, creative, multicultural environment in a setting that offers well-designed, educationally appropriate rehearsal halls, classrooms and other training spaces, as well as a theater resource center, music library and costume shop. MYAC and its associated programs are dedicated to fostering talent, developing character and building the audiences of tomorrow. 

This state-of-the-art facility provides First Stage with an inspirational training and rehearsal space, which makes more classes possible. Performances are still held in the Todd Wehr Theater at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. Other organizations that use this facility include The Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, Danceworks, Festival City Symphony and Milwaukee Children's Choir.
