Directions to Theater Academy

School year classes are located in the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, 325 West Walnut Street, Milwaukee and at the Sharon Lynn Wilson Center for the Arts, 19805 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield.

Summer classes are located in the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, 325 West Walnut Street, Milwaukee; University Lake School, 4024 Nagawicka Road, Hartland; and the Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway, Milwaukee.

To Milwaukee Youth Arts Center
From the North: Take I-43 South to McKinley Avenue. Go east on McKinley to 4th Street and turn left. At the top of the hill (Walnut St.), turn right.

From the South: Take I-43 North to the Kilbourn Ave. tunnel. Continue to 4th Street and turn left. At the top of the hill (Walnut St.), turn right.

From the West: Take I-94 East to I-43 North and exit at the Kilbourn Ave. tunnel. Continue to 4th Street and turn left. At the top of the hill (Walnut St.), turn right.

Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to MYAC. Spaces are limited. If you are using the area as a drop-off / pick up point, please try not to block the flow of traffic, and move as soon as possible to a parking space. Street parking available within a close walk of the offices. The Schlitz Park ramp is available after 5 pm.

To Sharon Lynne Wilson Center
FROM THE WEST: 
* Take 94 East to exit number 297 (18/JJ Bluemound Road West).
* Follow the sign that says 18 East/JJ West /Bluemound Road (the road curves to the right).
* At the top of the curve, follow the sign for 18 East.
* Get into the left lane and turn left at the stoplight onto 18 East.
* After this turn, turn left (north) at the next stoplight onto Highway Y/Barker Road.
* Follow Barker Road north, past North Avenue (stop sign) until reaching railroad tracks.
* Immediately after the railroad tracks, turn right onto River Road.
* 1/4 mile down on River Road, turn left onto Mitchell Park Drive.
The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts is in the middle of the park on the right, past the City of Brookfield's Park Pavilion.
OR
* Take Hwy 16 east to Capitol Drive (Hwy 190).
* Continue east past Barker Road.
* 1/4 mile after Barker Road is a park entrance to the south.  Turn right at this entrance onto Mitchell Park Drive.
* This road takes you through Mitchell Park.  Proceed past the Elmbrook Little League Diamond and beyond the grove of trees to the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts. FROM THE EAST:
* Take I-94 East to Barker Road/Bluemound Road, exit number 297.
* Take the Highway Y/Barker Road exit.
* Follow Barker Road north, past North Avenue (stop sign) until reaching railroad tracks.
* Immediately after the railroad tracks, turn right onto River Road.
* 1/4 mile down on River Road, turn left onto Mitchell Park Drive. The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts is in the middle of the park on the right, past the City of Brookfield's Park Pavilion.

To University Lake School
University Lake School is located approximately 25 miles west of Milwaukee, in the heart of Wisconsin’s scenic Lake Country area. The exact address is 4024 Nagawicka Road, Hartland, WI 53029; the entrance is clearly marked.

From the East: Take I-94 West to Hwy 84 (exit 287). Go North to Oakwood Road. Turn left on Oakwood. Go approx. ½ mile where Nagawicka Rd begins by curving to the right.  Proceed on Nagawicka 1.5 miles to ULS on the right.

From the West: Take I-94 East to Hwy 83 (exit 287).  Go North to Oakwood Road.  Turn Left on Oakwood.  Go approx. ½ mile where Nagawicka Rd begins by curving to the right.  Proceed on Nagawicka 1.5 miles to ULS on the right.

There are ample parking spaces throughout the ULS campus; feel free to utilize them.

To the Broadway Theatre Center
From the North: Take I-43 South to McKinley Avenue (exit 73A). Continue to Water Street and turn right. Stay on Water Street and go underneath I-794 to Buffalo Street and turn left. At Broadway, turn right.

From the South: Take I-43 North to the Kilbourn Ave. tunnel. Continue to Water Street and turn right. Stay on Water Street and go underneath I-
794 to Buffalo Street and turn left. At Broadway, turn right.

From the West: Take I-94 East to I-794. Exit at Van Buren/Jackson St. Go south, under the freeway, to St. Paul Avenue. Turn right on St. Paul Avenue, then left onto Broadway.
