First Stage Children’s Theater is delighted to announce that thanks to generous community support, this year’s Make Believe Ball raised over $112,000 to support First Stage!

With over 400 guests in attendance, the 2010 Make Believe Ball was Milwaukee’s premiere event for the entire family! The Ball featured a gourmet dinner in the Hilton Milwaukee’s Crystal Ballroom, exciting children’s entertainment, a one-of-a-kind silent and voice auction, raffle drawing, and music and dancing for the entire family!

All proceeds from this event benefit important First Stage education initiatives such as the First Stage Theater Academy which fosters “life skills through stage skills” and numerous in-school education programs that promote learning through theater. Proceeds also help maintain the high standards of artistic excellence that families have come to expect from First Stage theater productions.
