Whether we want them to or not, our movements on stage affect the story being told. The question is: how do we consciously make every movement count in our performance? Director Anne Bogart's answer to this came in the form of the nine Viewpoints: a way to create a menu of movement choices through improvisation and play. Using Viewpoints, we will create our own menu and explore how our choices enhance the storytelling in our monologues.
