Founded in 1987, First Stage is one of the nation’s most acclaimed theaters for young people and families and the second largest theater company in Milwaukee. With an annual operating budget of $6.2 million, $2.9 million of which is contributed revenue, we rely on the community to keep our programming accessible and help children develop skills fundamental to success in life such as self-confidence, leadership and teamwork.
