
Playmakers
Become a PlaymakerPlaymakers for Grades 1-2
Young actors will go on a new adventure each week as they utilize creative thinking as a group to further develop their beginning acting skills. Students will work as a group to pull inspiration from popular themes, create their own stories, and act them out together!
Playmakers is for students entering Grades 1-2 in Fall 2023. One-week, half-day (AM or PM) sessions are available. AM sessions are 9AM-11:30AM, and PM sessions are 12:30PM-3PM. If you are interested in more than one theme, sign up for an AM and PM class and make a full day out of it!

TOUCHDOWN! Inspired by First Stage's world premiere play – DREMA, QUICIE DREAM – students will create their own athlete character and use their three Actor Tools of Voice, Body, and Imagination to create their own sports story, practicing skills of problem solving, creativity, and teamwork along the way.

Mythology Mayhem: It’s All Greek To Me!
In this mythical class students will work together to create their own story inspired by Greek mythology. Inspired by First Stage's upcoming production of Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief, students will create their own characters and solve problems, overcome challenges…and maybe even fight some monsters!

Bestus Friends Forever
Elephant and Piggie are the best of friends! Inspired by First Stage's upcoming production of ELEPHANT & PIGGIE’S “WE ARE IN A PLAY!”, this class will challenge students to use their Voice, Body, and Imagination to create their own characters, develop friendships, and work together to solve problems.

Students will need to work together to solve problems and overcome challenges, all while using their Body, Voice, and Imagination.

Escape The Island: Create Your Own Adventure!
Can you escape the island? Inspired by First Stage's upcoming production of Escape from Peligro Island, students will find themselves in an imaginary island world, facing unexpected dangers, and meeting a friend or two along the way. Students will use their three Actor Tools to create this adventure story and practice their teamwork, creativity, and problem solving skills.

July 31 - August 4 AM

Sneaky Super Spies
CLASSIFIED! In this super-secret class, students will use their three Actor Tools of Voice, Body, and Imagination (as well as some gadgets) to create their own spy story and complete a top-secret mission. Along the way, they will need to work as a team, exercising their teamwork, creativity, and problem solving skills.
